Sunset Music Festival announced a new contest today, offering a lucky college student/DJ a chance to play an opening slot at Sunset Music Festival. The contest is a joint venture with Wavo and if you want to participate you are urged to be both “a good DJ” and tons of votes on Wuze.
You will not only get to play your first festival, but you also get:
– VIP Accommodations at SMF 2015
– DJ Set
– Backstage Access all weekend

Are you ready to perform alongside SMF’s biggest lineup in history?
We’re looking on campuses across the region for one lucky Sunsetter to rep their school and play an opening slot for Sunset Music Festival at Raymond James Stadium this Memorial Day Weekend. Think you have what it takes to rock out in front of thousands? Then join Wavo’s SMF College DJ Invitational.
Starting today, you can submit your best mix to Wavo with your school’s name in the title. Make sure your friends, fans, family, and classmates vote for you so your mix trends on the social platform. Based on the quality of the mix and votes, we’ll select the best DJ from the Top 10 schools and hold a final voting round. You have until Monday, March 16th to submit your mix.
On Friday, April 3rd, we’ll announce our grand prize winner who not only gets to perform at the two-day event, but also gets the VIP treatment including accommodations, backstage access all weekend long, and a 4-person party pack of tickets so friends can see the performance!
