One of the founders of Ultra Music Festival was found dead on January 12, 2015 after he missed a court date relating to his exit from Ultra Music Festival. Alex Omes left a massive impression on Florida, and the EDM scene – being one of the first and biggest electronic festivals to launch in the US back in 1999.
Its sad that his separation from Ultra, starting in 2010 has dragged out into a $30M+ lawsuit that is still outstanding. Cause of death is still pending.
