Sunfest as we all know is the premiere rock show for West Palm Beach for years now. Great artists, just to name a few, Rebelution, Alice in Chains, Kid Rock, and even indie band Passion Pit have graced the stages of Sunfest. They also add some hip hop flavor like Wiz Khalifa and J.Cole to their lineups. One thing that has caught our eye in the past couple years is the introduction of EDM to the festival. Last year we had the pleasure of enjoying Life in Color and this year was Pretty Lights.

EDM’s influence can be found in almost every festival you go to
nowadays.

The constant growth of fans and artists in the EDM world has forever changed the festival scene. Sunfest adapted pretty quick adding EDM artists to their lineups as the scene is growing more popular by every year. Great move by the heads of this festival since now they attract a larger fan base who love Rock and EDM. If you don’t adapt you won’t survive, Sunfest is a great example of this, adding different genres to their lineups to fit the ever changing fan base. I had the pleasure of watching Pretty Lights perform with his staged lasers synchronized to the music. It was an amazing show and a nice change of pace from all the Rock we were use to for the day. I love variety in a festival and Sunfest is beginning to add great variety to theirs. My overall experience was terrific at this years Sunfest and with Pretty Lights closing off Saturdays show really took the crowd to another level of fun and excitement.
