OCTOBER 18TH & 19TH SHOW
Klipsch Amphitheater at Bayfront Park Miami
First, off – hell yes! BassLights is back!
Let me follow that up saying, damn pre-sale tickets are sold out. The duo (Pretty Lights & Bassnectar) will be bringing the “BassLights” show back together and playing back-to-back shows in Miami.
Tickets go on sale 8/3/13 at 10am EST – THEY WILL GO QUICK
The deep-ass stomach-churning bass, that both of these guys are known to deliver, will be a bit different between the two nights. If you were looking for an excuse to buy tickets for both nights (I highly recommend) know that you are going to get a different taste each night.
I’m not going to lie, I have been on a HARD Bassnectar binge since downloading the “Immersive Music Mixtape – side one.” That was literally the best 70MB I ever downloaded to my work computer. If you haven’t listened yet, I highly recommend you download it for free from the long-haired-one using the link below of on Bassnectar.net. Bassnectar put on an insane show at UMF 2013 – I can’t wait to see a more intimate and focused setting.
The venue is technically called Klipsch Amphitheater, located in Bayfront Park – but most know it as the “Live Stage” at Ultra Music Festival.
My real investment to this event leads back to the mesmerizing show I saw on October 2, 2012 at the Fillmore Theater in Miami Beach. I had wanted to see Pretty Lights ever since seeing the YouTube Video of him at Bonnaroo 2011
The show opened with 12th Planet dropping some filthy dubstep and ended with a 3:00am crown melting together with a sound system that could literally be felt in Ft. Lauderdale.
(Editor Note: As a side-note, I think its fair to let you know I actually had permanent hearing damage in my left ear when I saw Pretty Lights at the Fillmore Theatre in Mimai Beach in October. This is a compliment to the sound crew, not a complaint!)
